I have a patron who is looking for a book she describes as...
A female journalist meets a guy in a bar (no, this is not a joke!) and they
talk about mutual interests. She tells him about her desire to find out what
life is like living from port to port. He says that's his lifestyle. He
travels "settles" in a port long enough to earn enough money to sail to the
next one and then starts all over again. He invites her to go along--she
can write her book, he can live his life. No strings. So, for 13 years they
do this and she wakes up one day and says she is finished...he says he
isn't, and they go their separate ways. The book is supposed to be about
their experiences and travels. I don't know if it's a travel book, a
biography or nonfiction.....
I'm hoping some one knows what book this is. Please help!
Thanks!
