Hello all,
I've been trying to remember the title of a coffee table-type book my mother had that she has since divested herself of. It's an anthology of stories, folktales, craft project instructions, recipes and other holiday tidbits. The whole last section of the book, as I recall, is recipes. There is a series of 3 or 4 Christmas menus done (again, as I recall) by James Beard and instructions for making a gingerbread house. I've tried searching unsuccessfully with WorldCat, I've looked at information about James Beard (which makes me think it was perhaps not he who wrote those recipes), and I've tried searching used book sites to no avail. If this triggers anyone's memory, please do let me know at [removed]@pbclibrary.org. Oh yes, and the cover was green (my favorite patron remark!). Thanks very much!

Wow! I am amazed and awed. Thank you Janet for finding this title so quickly. It is _A Family Christmas_ from Reader's Digest. And it looks like James Beard is in there! Alright!
