Hi. I have a coworker who is looking for prison testimony type books. They can be
either fiction or nonfiction.
We have the classics Run, Baby, Run by Nicky Cruz, The Cross and the Switchblade
by David Wilkerson, and 70x7 and Beyond by Monty Christensen.
Does anyone have any further suggestions? I have tried a few quick and dirty
searches on Amazon.com and Barnes&Noble.com but haven't come up with too
much.
Just hoping there are a few more options.... Thanks!

I'm not positive this is what you are looking for
"prison testimony type books" but Jeffrey Archer has
written two prison memoirs - A Prison Diary &
Purgatory : A Prison Diary Volume 2 (with a third
volume due out next summer) and Wally Lamb edited a
book - Couldn't Keep It to Myself: Testimonies from
Our Imprisoned Sisters written by women inmates at a
prison where he taught writing.

Borstal Boy is about the arrest of the author (a noted playwright in later
years) in Liverpool when he was 16 for suspected IRA activity. The book
recounts his two years spent in borstal, a British term for reformatory.
In the Name of the Father is about the arrest and imprisonment of Gerry
Conlon, his father, and several others (the "Guildford Four") for bombings
at an English pub in 1974. A 1993 film based on the book starred Daniel
Day-Lewis. The book was originally published as Proved Innocent.
