I am search for the title of Jane Peart's Orphan Train West series for
adults. According to Novelist it skips from volume 3, Dreams of a Long
Heart to volume 5 The Heart's Lonely Secret.
Apparently it was written originally as a trilogy, but volume 5 is out there
so I'm confused. The only volume 4 I've found is her series of the same
name for YA.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Mid-Continent Public Library's Inspirational Fiction Series and Sequels:

lists Heart's lonely secret as #4. The mix-up might be because the
series was abridged into a 5-book YA format (April & May, Ivy & Allison,
Kit, Laurel, Toddy).
