A challenge for one of you...

A patron at our library is looking for a juvenile science fiction book (or series?) he read in the 1980's. It's about "people" who lived on the moon, from the perspective of a child of the moon people. He thinks thir government centered on their "moongress" or "mongress". Any ideas of what this is?????

Wild guess -- is it Jerome Beatty's "Matthew Looney" series?

If so, your patron will probably recognize the Gahan Wilson illustrations for
the series, such as the ones at
