Anna Maxted is a good one. She's got two novels out: Getting Over It and
Running in Heels.

Also, Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella. Bridget Jones with a shopping problem. There is a sequel to this as well, Shopaholic Takes Manhattan.
And My Life on a Plate by India Knight.

I loved Jemima J by Jane Green. You just need to suspend your disbelief a
bit...or perhaps she just loses weight faster than I do!
Also, Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella. Bridget Jones with a
shopping problem. There is a sequel to this as well, Shopaholic Takes
Manhattan.

I just finished MRS. FYTTON'S COUNTRY LIFE by Mavis Cheek - she has
written
several others, but this is the first to be published Stateside.
Just-dumped Mrs. Fytton moves to what she thinks is the bucolic
English
countryside. Hysterical!
