I think I've mentioned this before, but our library system keeps quite a few book lists on our Readers' Page at the web site: www.anoka.lib.mn.us. I'm really happy with my Janet Evanovich list, particularly because I have it divided into books that are similar in different ways. For example Grafton is included, but so are funny romances and the Archie McNally series all under different sub-headings so the reader can find suggestions based on appeal factors.
"What Do I Read Next" licensed this list among others to put on their database. Unfortunately they rearranged everything by author instead of category so on their list it makes little sense and is just a mess of misc. titles :(

Try Sarah Strohmeyer's dubut mystery "Bubbles Unbound" describes as
a Barbie doll who kicks ass like a Marine. This is a mystery. I thought
this book was very entertaining!!

New Author Paula Boyd has been compared to both Evanovich and Joan Hess.
Her Jolene Jackson Mysteries have won awards; I'm not sure which ones. You
might want to check out her books. I just finished reading Dead Man Falls,
and enjoyed it very much. Quite hilliarious in places, and an excellent
