I just sent out the note below to some lists and thought that this reading
promotion might be fun for library patrons (and librarians!).

BookBrowser is taking part in a nationwide Summer Reading Promotion. Nine
web sites are hosting a contest with wonderful prizes (lots of books, of
course!) in hopes of introducing people to new authors and new reading
topics. Carol Fitzgerald and the people of The Book Report Network have done
a fantastic job of creating this unique reading promotion. As part of the
contest the reviewers at BookBrowser have put together a wonderful page of
their favorite books. It is a long list but a real joy to read. We hope you
discover new reading delights! The address to the BookBrowser Reviewer's
All-Time Favorite Reads is:

Click on the Summer Reading logo to enter the contest!

(Please note that the contest is open to US residents only - sorry! I think
there are legal reasons for this and I hope we can run a worldwide contest

This Summer Reading Promotion is a great idea and the links are all good
ones. Thanks for the tip. I think it is also good info to pass on to
patrons.
