Hi!

I read a review of a humorous romance sometime in the last 6 months to a
year, but I can't quite remember the title. It's about a woman who gets
engaged, goes through all or some of the planning, possibly is attracted
to someone else, and it takes place in Cleveland or Ohio. It is
definitely recent. It is not Otherwise Engaged by Finnamore (which was
out of the running anyway because it takes place in San Francisco) or
Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married by Keyes (which takes place in
England).

Perhaps the book is Accidental Bride by Janice Harayda. It was published
in 1999. It does take place in Ohio and seems to fit your description.

I think this is The Accidental Bride by Janice Harayda.
The heroine is about to be married to the third richest man
in Ohio when she calls the wedding off just a month
before. Came out in trade paper in June 2000. It's funny.

could it possibly by Crooked River Burning by Winegardner. Anne O'Connor is
engaged to be married to another upper crust Clevelander but it does not
work out.
