It would seem to me that there is a third type, after the straight espionage
of the Davina Graham series and so forth - THE HOUSE OF VANDEKAR c. 1988
started a more intrigue/suspense genre in her writing,carried on by THE
DOLL'S HOUSE and so forth. I have no idea whether she is writing anymore,
or even alive - just checking our catalog, I see that VALENTINA was written
in 1954 . . .
I would be curious also to know about her. Sarah

I know that Evelyn Anthony wrote in two genres: historical novels and tales
of intrigue. With the help of http://www.myunicorn.com and a reference book
on detective stories, I've been able to figure out which is which through
1980, but no tools are available beyond that point. A web search turned up
only sites in German, which were no help. Can anyone distinguish one from
the other? And is Anthony still alive?
