Cloning on island

Someone is cloning the children of rich people to keep as spare parts in
case they are needed. One of these clones escapes from the island and finds
his double. So far we know it is NOT The Third Twin by Ken Follett, Spares
by Michael Smith or Cellmates by Robert Burton.

A staff member has asked me to post the following plot to a book that she
read a few years ago. I told her that someone on this list will surely know
the title. Here goes:

Yes, it is an awesome book <g> and is very intense. The book is
one of the "best" according to those in the bio-technology field...
