Hi! No one responded the first time around, so I thought I'd try this one more time! Thanks--
--This is for my mom whose memory is not what it used to be... She
started a book last year and never got to finish it. This is what she
remembers:
"In short, it's about a woman in England, who moves to South America to
live with her grandparents and then begins a search for her other
grandparents who are missionaries..."
However, when she first told me about it she said South Africa rather
than South America, so...
I hope this rings a bell with someone. Thanks in advance!

I checked our catalog and thought it might be Hilary Mantel's A Change of
Climate, but you can eliminate that title. I think I must at least have
read reviews of the book your mother remembers because the plot rings a
bell.

This couldn't be POISONWOOD BIBLE by Barbara
Kingsolver, could it?
