Minister in Africa-son disappears-help with title
|

According to the patron:
The author is a British lady - contemporary and has a fairly sophisticated
writing style. Probably published since 1985. The story goes: A
minister, his wife, and son were in Africa doing missionary work. The son
(~ 4 years old) disappears. They suspect that the local witch doctor is
responsible, but were unable to prove anything. No body was recovered.
The minister and his wife eventually return to England where he works with
a parish. The couple drifts apart, but does not seperate. They might have
grown daughters - patron is not sure. The bulk of the novel takes place in
England. The title is not necessarily "inspirational".
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks in advance,
Sarah
