Does anyone know what's become of Michael Malone? I read years ago that he
had become the chief writer for a soap opera. Is this true? I've read all
his books and wish there were more.

He also wrote Uncivil Seasons, Fool's Cap, Dingley Falls and Time's Witness.

I also heard he wrote for a soap series for awhile.

I knew that he became head writer for ANOTHER WORLD ( see

but I didn't check to see if he's still at it -- probably pays a *Whole
lot* more than writing his novels - but I sure wish he was still at it .
