Kay Scarpetta

I know she is the Cheif Medical Examiner of Virginia,
and she has a law degree, and from one of the books
that I almost read, I think she knew some kung-fu and
had a scuba-diving license.
Also, is "Last Precinct" actually the last in the Kay
Scarpetta series, as I have heard.
I'm making up a book mark and I want to include as
much information as possible.
Thanks in advance.
Matt

Kay Scarpetta is also an excellent cook (Italian food) and a very loving
aunt (almost surrogate mom) to her niece, Lucy.
