I have a customer looking for a book she read several
(3-10) years ago. Here's what she remembers--it's set
in New York and much of the action is centered around
a florist shop. She says the author is a popular
romance novelist. Any ideas?

Could it be "Everlasting" by Nancy Thayer? It came out in the early '90's
and centers around a woman who owns a florist shop.

This is probably "The Way Men Act" by Elinor Lipman (1992) - a fairly
short but memorable
and humorous novel. It was very enjoyable.
