Hello all. Do any of you know of a traveling exhibit for banned books? I've checked with the Smithsonian Institute and found nothing. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I'm not sure if this will help, but the top link is to a website that
details an exhibit offered by the Texas Council for the Humanities (TCH)
titled "Bonfire of Liberties" which deals with censorship of the humanities
and lists a number of books censored through history. The second link is to
the TCH exhibit catalog and offers info on rental rates and what not.

This info is old but perhaps it will help. In 1993, we displayed a
traveling exhibit, "Censorship in Schools and Libraries," created by the
Long Island coalition Against Censorship. I'm sorry that I have lost my
contact information. The display was very well done and I think cost us
only shipping to the next display site.
