I have a patron looking for a novel he read about 25 years ago...he is pretty sure the novel was new then... It is the story of three nuns who inherit an estate in New York. They visit the estate and meet some hippies in the woods. The nuns come to New York from a Pennsylvania order. My customer says this was a very funny book and the mystery (doesn't remember what the mystery was, now) took second place to the humor in the book. Not much to go on and no bites in any of the sources I've checked...any one recognize this one???

This is "A Nun in the Closet," by Dorothy Gilman, best known for her Mrs.
Pollifax spy novels. It *is* very funny, and I wish she'd written more
about these two sisters!
