Subject: mystery playing peek-a-boo
Dear Fiction_L subscribers,
A patron remembers a mystery or a thriller that began with a mother and
child hiding under a porch. The father was looking for them and when he
found them, he said "peek-a-boo". That is as far as the reader got, since
apparently she was too scared to continue! She would like to know the
title and author as she now wants to finish the book. She remembers nothing
else about the book.
I appreciate any solutions.
Thank you,
Cathy Greene
