Since there is some SF chatter on the list right now I just wanted to
let everyone know that YALSA will be putting on a preconference in San
Francisco at which Robert Jordan (loooonnnggg series), Dia Calhoun,
Garth Nix (a trilogy in his future?), David Lubar, Steven Gould, T. A.
Barron (Merlin series, once again more than a trilogy), Patricia C.
Wrede (and again more than a trilogy), and Douglas Preston (possibly)
will be speaking on the topics of science fiction, fantasy, and teens.
