I cannot remember if someone has posted a similar question, nor did I find
a matching booklist: we have a patron who has just finished reading "Blood
Moon" by Sharman Divono and Tess Gerritsen's "Gravity" and she is looking
for similar books about emergencies in space, either fiction or
non-fiction, prefereably restricted to the new future or in the recent
past.
I would like to thank everyone in advance for their suggestions.

Of course there's Martin Caidin's "Marooned."
On a humorous note, possibly Poul Anderson's "The Makeshift Rocket," aka "A
Bicycle Built for Brew."
