It's about a Native American woman (possibly Sioux - contemporary)
who was adopted off the reservation as a child to a white family. As an
adult she researches and finds her roots, her past and herself.
If anyone has any idea of the title or author I would really
appreciate it. Thanks!!

Subject: RE: Native American Woman
It is probably Looking for Lost Bird by Yvette D. Melanson. It is a
biography of a Jewish woman who discovers that she is Native American and
sets off to find her roots. She finds out she is Navajo. The book was
recently made into a made-for-television movie. There is also a mystery by
Coel Margaret called Lost Bird about a movie star who finds out she was
stolen as a baby and is eventually reunited with her Arapaho Family.
