Hi all,

I just had a patron come in asking a vague question
about a book he and his wife had enjoyed, but can't
remember the author or title, and they would like
others by the same author.

The plot ends with a murder being solved. The
contractor did it - he drugged a woman and put her in
a hole at an excavation site. He covered her body
with dirt using a back hoe. There was also a custody
battle for a 5 year old. Any ideas? He also
mentioned that the book started with a woman getting
pregnant and being into drugs. She gives the child to
her parents to raise. The child is an adult for the
rest of the book.
