I'm looking for a young adult novel about horseback riding. The plot: a
teenage male goes study dressage on a relative's horse farm. His relative
(his uncle?) is a horsetrainer, and so is his wife. The young man had
perhaps just graduated high school and decided to concentrate on horses
instead, much to his father's chagrin. The novel is about the year he
spends on the horse farm and about his training. I think it was written in
the 80s.
