Hi.
I don't have the book-- but I have the flannelboard somewhere to Nat the
Bunny. Ask your patron if there's a repeated line in it that goes "My name
is Nat and I'm big and fat and I can change my color just like that!" And if
that's it, let me know and I'll e-mail you the text to the flannel board.

A patron of ours is looking for a children's book that was in her school
library in early 1960 - was probably a picture book rather than a chapter
book about a bunny that changes colors - it is not Henry and the Red
Stripes. Any ideas? We checked Children's Catalog and didn't find any likely
candidates.

Hi All!
The childrens' librarian asked me to post this query. Her patron read a
book about 30 years ago in elementary school. The book is a juv. chapter
book about a rabbit that changes colour. The author is possibly American,
possibly a woman. The book had a pink cover(!). Any leads would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks to you all.

I read a book in the early 60's that fits this description. The title was
Freddy the Rainbow Rabbit but I don't remember the authors' name. I'd be
interested to know if this is the book your patron is looking for. It
would be gratifying to know that there's atleast one other person in the
world that remembers this book!!
