I'm searching for a children's book with the above title (the patron
*thinks* that's the title). Not sure of the spelling. Maybe two words?
She read it when she was about 10 years old; she's now 86! Patron wants to
read, but failing eyesight and difficulty concentrating keeps her from it.
She has decided to try books she remembers from her childhood; this was her
favorite. Hope you all can help--reading just might help this patron in
more ways than she realizes!
Thanks!!

Also <http://www.seriesbooks.com/honeybunch.htm> has a page (together with
titles!) on the series which starts:
"This highly successful 32 title Stratemeyer Syndicate series was in print from
1923 through 1955. Both Mildred Wirt and Josephine Lawrence are credited as
two of the ghostwriters who contributed to this series. Like most Stratemeyer
series, Honey Bunch was published in a variety of formats. ..."
Perhaps you could try local thrift shops or used-book stores?
Hope this helps! Lynne

A search of <www.Bibiofind.com> with <honeybunch> as search term turned up
the following titles. I think this might fit your time frame. Margaret
Zemach also wrote books with "honeybunch" in the title, but they were done in
the 1980's.

The original HONEY BUNCH (two words, not one) series by "Helen Louise
Thorndyke" (a Stratemeyer syndicate pseudonym/house name) ran to 32
volumes, 1923 through 1955. Twelve volumes appeared 1957-1963 under a
new series title, HONEY BUNCH AND NORMAN. Of the "new" twelve, numbers
2, 5, 6, and 7 were reissues of numbers 27, 30, 31, and 32 of the first
series (two of them with title changes). The other 8 were new stories
(so that there are 40 in all); HONEY BUNCH AND NORMAN IN THE CASTLE
OF MAGIC was number 8, published in 1958.
The "1050s" incarnation of HONEY BUNCH presumably included such
titles as HONEY BUNCH AND BEOWULF FIGHT GRENDEL'S MOTHER and HONEY
BUNCH GOES A-VIKING, followed by a shorter series under the general
title of HONEY BUNCH AND THE NORMAN INVASION. I don't seem to
have any of those. . . .
