Dear Georgine:
The plot is not exactly the same but Lady Elizabeth's Comet by Sheila
Simonson is about a lady trying to get credit for discovering a comet. I
think the hero is a neighbor. It
was written in 1985. Your patron might try it.It's light easy reading.
