A patron remembers reading a book within the last couple years about a woman
forensic pathologist ala Kay Scarpetta, but the book was set in Canada. She
doesn't know if it's a series or a single novel. Novelist and Bibliofind
searches haven't turned up anything. Does it ring a bell to anyone?

and Deadly Decisions.

I believe the author is Kathy Reich. She has written
Deja Dead, Death du Jour, and one more that I can't
remember the title.

That would be Kathy Reich's Deja Dead, Death du Jour and Deadly Decisions,
which take place in Montreal, all with the same character, Temperance
Brennan.

Just catching up on the postings now - as others have pointed out, this is
Kathy Reichs and her new one coming out in July or August is Fatal Voyage.
Forensic pathologist's name is Tempe Brennan. Her 3rd book, Deadly
Decisions, hits very close to home to some of us Canadians with the current
biker gang problems in Montreal and the merging/takeover of biker gangs in
Ontario.
