A friend asked me to post this in the hope that one of you will recognize
the book described. Her patron gave her the following description:

A woman who is down on her luck goes into a church on Christmas Eve and
leaves with "wealth of the spirit" (this seemed to be a key phrase).

The patron read it about 20 years ago and recalled that it was a thin book.
