I have a library patron who remembers reading a mystery novel about a
year ago, but can't remember author, title, character name, etc.
What she does remember is that the book or books are set in small town
America, are Christian, and have some connection with firefighting and
police. She thinks the author is a woman, and that there are numbers in
the titles.

I've checked Detecting Men, Detecting Women, NoveList, Bookbrowser.com,
and am stumped. Does this ring any bells?

The patron might be thinking of Dee Henderson. Her heroes include Navy seals
and hostage negotiators, all from a Christian vantage - and very well
received (thinking specifically of The Negotiator, actually).
