Readalikes for Mary Higgins Clark would include
Barbara Michaels, Phyllis Whitney, Victoria
Holt/Philippa Carr as well as (if the suspense is what
they are looking for) Nora Roberts, Catherine Coulter,
Elizabeth Adler, and earlier Sandra Brown romantic
suspense titles (More recent titles like THE ALIBI &
THE SWITCH have drifted away from the romantic
suspense flavor of FRENCH SILK and WHERE THERE'S
SMOKE). There are many more great writers of romantic
suspense-- I'll let the list take it from here!
