Alternate review sources for African American and romance books

BIP online is wonderful for helping me find where these books have been
reviewed in the standard review sources (PW, LJ, Booklist), but many of
the books by African-American authors that patrons are finding at
CushCity.com are not being reviewed in the standard sources (and
CushCity doesn't include reviews that I've been able to find). Can
anyone suggest alternate review sources for these -- preferably online?
I'm having the same problem finding alternate review sources for romance
titles. I use The Romance Reader and Romantic Times web sites, but can
anyone suggest additional web sites where I can find reviews for new romances?
TIA,
Vicki

May I suggest All About Romance (www.likesbooks.com)? Tons of reviews,
many of them pre-pub, and loads of other kinds of information about
romance. The thing I appreciated about TRR and AAR (even before I became
affiliated with AAR) is that each site offers a wealth of information not
just about specific books but also about the romance genre in general.

If you're talking about the All About Romance site - I just tried it with the
URL <www.likesbooks.com> and it definitely works. In fact, it's been on my
bookmark for a very long time.
