Subject: mystery set in Lake of the Woods area
I read a mystery last year that was set on an Indian reservation up in the
Lake of the Woods vicinity of northern Minnesota (actually closer to Canada,
but still considered part of U.S.) and somehow I forgot to write it down!
Of course now I want to read other books by this author and can't for the
life of me remember who he is. Can anyone help me? I've tried Bookbrowser,
but none of the names on the lists of Native American detectives, Minnesota
or Manitoba mysteries seemed right.
TIA,
Vicki Nesting

I wonder if it might be William Kent Krueger? He's written 3 mysteries
in a series set in northern Minnesota -- Iron Lake, Boundary Waters, and
Purgatory Ridge -- and the detective is part Irish/part Native American.
