Subject: mother-daughter-dementia-priest book
Okay, here's a toughy, one of those
'you either know it or you don't' questions.
Looking for a novel that is at least
4 years old, about a mother, a publisher
by trade, sinking into dementia (possibly
alzheimers related), with a daughter who is
in denial and trying to hold the family and
business together. Subplot concerns the
daughter's hidden parentage by a priest
who is still friends with her mom.
I suspect it is literary fiction,
but it might belong to some genre or other.
Anyone know the book?
