I apologise for disturbing you, with bad english at least.
I kindly ask for an information, if one of you is able to provide it
to me.
Many years ago, 10 or more, i read the translation of a english-
written fiction book. I don't remember the title, nor the author (not
a good start, indeed). But the story was about a genetic manipulation
giving more intelligence, by introducing in DNA something which
sounds like "the brookman sequence", a special sequence that few
people owns in nature. The plot was classic : bad guys who want to
earn a lot of money at the expense of the society, playing with genes
and stockmarkets. They don't only work on human beiings, but also on
rice: they'd created a new brand, very agressive (but programmed to
self-exterminate) called "rice five".
Because is now very common to write such kind of books, but it wasn't
at this time, i'm very interested in finding out who was the author
and the title of the book. I've already tried to search on the net
whith different key-words, but without any result.

Thank you!!
