Does anyone know of a publisher who specializes in translations of
bestseller books (particularly into Spanish)? We are trying to increase our
collection of Spanish books, but are finding only books by Hispanic/Latino=20
authors such as Isabel Allende, etc.
Thanks for any help you can give!

One thing you might try to do is contact some of the major publishers who
have authors who are translated into Spanish on a regular basis. I'm
thinking particularly of Harlequin, with its wordwide publishing and
distribution system. You can email them via their website, <romance.net>
You might also contact your local chapter of Romance Writers of America. The
chapter might include published authors who regularly get Spanish
translations of their books, and might like to donate them to a library.
There's also at least one new publishing line specializing in hispanic
romance - Encanto.
Hope this helps....
