I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions for
authors that would read like Iris Johansen, Sandra Brown (her
romance/suspense novels), or Linda Howard. I've exhausted
all of their books and want to find some like it for reader's
advisory and myself. >>
If you like romantic suspense that's intense - that's what it sounds like - I
can recommend books by the following:
Naomi Horton
Justine Davis
Rachel Lee
Sharon Sala (particularly Jackson Rule)
Elizabeth Lowell
Cherry Adair (new author) Kiss and Tell
Ruth Glick writing as Rebecca York (43 Light Street Harlequin Intrigue)
An early romantic suspense by Jayne Castle (Jayne Krentz) Double Dealing
For fun, you could try early Mary Stewart such as Madam, Will You Talk,
Wildfire at Midnight, etc.
There are many other examples I can cite. Feel free to contact me off list -
I have a prepared annotated bibliography if anyone is interested.
