The story takes place in Deadwood, South Dakota and begins around the late
1800's with a Sioux medicine man who goes into a cave to fast and pray for
his tribe. He emerges from the cave three days later to find himself in
present day. He wanders down from the cave to a ranch below owned by a
young (late 20's) woman who has been in an accident and is confined to a
wheelchair. The medicine man learns what happens to his tribe throughout
history and must return to his time to help them. The young woman travels
back in time with him. He heals her/teaches her to walk and, of course,
they live happily ever after. Does this ring a bell with anyone?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The Medicine Man
Strong and wise beyond his years, Shadow Hawk was the spiritual leader of
his people, but he had seen a troubling vision that even he could not
understand.
The Spirit Woman
Beautiful and infinitely desirable, she seemed to beckon Hawk away from the
Lakota, drawing him to an unknown place where passion and peril prevailed.
The Path of Love
Together despite all odds, Maggie and Hawk discovered a shared destiny that
would conquer time itself and unite them body and soul.
Hope this helps.
