I had a patron recently who was interested in reading books similar in
style to Richard Paul Evans "The Christmas Box" etc. She said that she
liked his books because they were about real people and they were easy to
read. I recommended Nicholas Sparks, but she had already read everything
but "The Rescue" and we have a waiting list for that. Could any of you
suggest any titles? I think she's especially looking for short or quick
reads since Evans' books tend to be short.
Thank you so much for any help you can give me, I'm a newbie librarian,
trying to stay on top of many things. I'm sure you can all relate. :-)
