We have a patron who read--and greatly enjoyed--a special book many
years ago and he would like to read it again. He thinks the title is Pepper
Tree. He recalls that the book is about a man who is shipwrecked on an
island and, when he finally can leave, the people he met on the island don't
want him to go and, in fact, won't let him go. I'm having no luck finding
this book. Perhaps the title is not complete or quite accurate. Does this
book sound familiar to anyone? We would be so grateful for any help you may
offer. Thank you.
