Hi all,

I have a patron who remembers reading a review for a book about 9 months or
so ago. The reviewer compared the book to Jan Karon's Mitford books, but
said that this book was less "saccharine." I know this isn't much to go
on, but any help is appreciated.

Try "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown - An American symbologist is
summoned to Europe as theI lluminati makes their presence, and their
intent to bring down the Roman Catholic Church, known. Very fast paced
with interesting visuals of the Illuminati's messages.

Another great one is "The Corner of the Veil", by Laurence Cosse.
What would happen if irrefutable proof of God's existence were
discovered? This is a short read, more of a puzzler/ what if? than a
thriller, but still exciting.

The time frame of 9 months sounds about right if the
book is Home to Harmony by Philip Gulley. It's a
novel about a Quaker minister in a small midwestern
town.

whom is a minister) who come together to produce a cookbook.
