I have a patron asking for a book written about THE FLOOD (her
capitaliztion) in Florence, Italy that she thinks took place in the
1960's. May have been written about then also.
Didn't find anything that struck any bells with her in Fiction Catalog.
Only other thing that came up in a search of my catalog was Diary of
Florence in Flood by Katherine Kressman Taylor. Patron didn't think that
was it.
Any suggestions?

In 1966, 29-year-old Margot Harrington heads off to Florence, intent on
doing her bit to protect its precious books from the great floods--and
equally intent on adventure.
