My 21-year-old son read Dirty White Boys this past fall, and really liked
it. He said he got hooked and couldn't put it down. He will be leaving in
about a month on a six-month deployment, and I would like to find 2-3
paperback books to send with him to help pass the time. Can anyone suggest
any read-alikes for this book?

What about other Stephen Hunter titles--BLACK LIGHT, THE MASTER SNIPER, POINT OF IMPACT, THE DAY BEFORE MIDNIGHT, TIME TO HUNT (all again featuring Bob Lee Swaggert), and THE SECOND SALADIN and THE SPANISH GAMBIT. Other similar authors to consider are Harry Patterson aka Jack Higgins and Ken Follett.
