Cherokee Romance?

We have a patron who vaguely remembers a romance novel she read...but who
clearly wants to read it again.
Here are the (slim) details:
There's a romance between a Cherokee man and a white woman who moves to a
Cherokee reservation with her family.
The patron doesn't remember the title, author, or time period...just that
the reservation had a newspaper. She doesn't
remember how the newspaper played into the plot.
I know it's not much to go on, but I'm hopeful it rings a bell with someone.
We've tried _What Romance Do I Read Next?_.
Thanks in advance for your time.

Since no one else has responded, here is my two cents worth:
Good chance that the author is Cassie Edwards, but no idea of title.
Cassie has written dozens of Indian romances, featuring different tribes.
Her website, at www.cassieedwards.com, lists the titles but not the
plots. I didn't find an email address, either.
If not Cassie Edwards, then the author might be Madeline Baker. Her website
can be found at www.writepage.com/authors/bakerm.htm, and does give an
email address.
Another suggestion would be to post to the RRA-L mailing list, or to
contact the folks at www.romantictimes.com. Hope this helps.

Examples of romance authors with books featuring Native American Heroes:
Eagle, Kathleen A Class Act (and many others)
Howard, Linda Mackenzie's Mountain (first book in the series; there are
others)
Lee, Rachel Cherokee Thunder (Her Cunard County series features other
Native American Heroes as well. She's even written at least one that's
paranormal.)
Lowell, Elizabeth Valley of the Sun A wonderful book! He's a water find
- and her land is dry as dust and the cattle are dying.
St. Claire, Erin Honor Bound
Schulze, Dallas Stormwalker
Soule, Maris Lost and Found
I believe Laura Baker also writes romance featuring Native American heroes.
