I have two separate questions that have left us stumped.

1. Does anyone know of a list of read-alikes for V.C. Andrews?

2. A patron is looking for books by Tom Savage written under a pseudonym
which she thinks is Phillips or some variation. I can't find that he's
written anything under a pseudonym. Does anyone know if he has and what
the pseudonym is?

Regarding the V.C. Andrews readalikes, there is a web site called Alternate
Authors which lists some readalikes for a number of authors--including
Andrews.
