What does this single-use-only encryption mean for libraries? Will e-pubs
provide any sort of recourse for libraries that don't have the right kind
of technology to support text in this format? Does anyone know the
answers to these, and related, questions?

My daughter down-loaded it and tried to send it to me...but I couldn't receive
it.
It is meant to be read on the computer only.

Here is another solution for libraries:

We downloaded the free Glassbook reader and "Riding the Bullet" to several
of
our public computers. We put an icon on the desktop labelled "Riding the
Bullet". So far demand has not been high. We ARE able to read it multiple
times, but are not able to print it. For comparison purposes, we also
downloaded the netLibrary reader and paid the $2.50 for the book. I prefer
the
netLibrary reader, but it does not allow printing either. We have not
cataloged the book, but have relied on staff to pass the word. I'm the
cataloger, for pete's sake, and I didn't even THINK about cataloging it.
Now
I'll have to figure that out ...

Thought I would pass this along. It appeared in Newsday (NY) today.
