We have a patron that is looking for a story that was published in Argosy or
Argosy for Men sometime between 1953-57. It is about a football player named
Alan Amiche. It projects 50 years into the future when his name is Alice
Amiche. Argosy was a magazine. Does anyone know the title of this story?

Amiche, the spelling your patron is using is almost certainly wrong. Alan
"The Horse" Ameche was a Hall of Fame football player who played for the
great championship teams of the Baltimore Colts. Just a point of information.
