If anyone knows the answer to this, I will truly be amazed.

We have a patron who checked out a book from our library about a year =
ago that was a collection of four romance stories, at least one of which =
was by a well-known romance author. One of the stories involved a =
vampire or a werewolf and was not necessarily the story that the =
well-known author contributed.

That's all we know! The irksome part is that it's in our collection =
somewhere but we have not been able to track down the beast (pardon the =
pun). Any ideas?

Chris,

I explored the vampire possibility. I remembered that Karen
Harbaugh writes vampire romances. No anthologies, but that name helped me
find more authors on NoveList. Authors found there are: Amanda Ashley,
Christine Feehan, Nancy Gideon, Michele Hauf, Linda Lael Miller, Tanya
Huff, Cheryln Jac, Maggie Shayne, Margaret St. George, and Karen Taylor.
Checking these authors on Amazon.com, Maggie Shayne has novellas in
several anthologies, and Margaret St. George has a couple. Moonglow,
published in 10/98 with a story by Maggie Shayne sounds promising, but I
can't find my library's copy to check. You might hit paydirt searching
your catalog for Shayne or St. George. Hope this helps.
