Fiction L Members,

I am searching for a book title and thought that I could draw upon
your collective memories. This young adult fiction book was written in
the 1960's
(probably?) and the main character is a young girl who was chosen to be
one of Medea's handmaidens. In this book, Medea was a master illusionist.
She was able to fool Jason into believing that she murdered their sons
when she merely spirited them away to a safer place. Sound familiar?
