I had a patron in who is looking for a book. She can't remember the title or
author. The book is an old one and it is about a young couple who marry and
settle in Tucson, Arizona. The woman opens a boarding house. As they begin
to have a family, the woman adds on to the house.
I hope this rings bells with some of you. It doesn't with me.
Thank you for any and all suggetions.

Could this book be Chicken Every Sunday by Rosemary Taylor? It is an old
book about a woman (who has a husband and children) who runs an interesting
boarding house in Tucson--but I don't remember if she adds on to the house.

>Lambton County LibraryThis may be "Chicken Every Sunday" by, I think, Rodgers (first name
unknown). It has a sequel, "Ridin' the Rainbow."

>You are right, and I was wrong about the author's name. I repeat, there is
a sequel, "Ridin' the Rainbow;" the jacket blurb says something like
"...what Papa was doing while Mamma was feeding her boarders all that
chicken!"
